During your exam, your physician will answer any questions you may have, review your medical records and determine whether or not you qualify for a recommendation. If you do in fact qualify, your physician will then enter your into the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry. After being entered into the Registry you will receive an email with step-by-step instructions on how to complete your application and pay the $75 state-required annual fee. For any issues with your application or payment, please contact the OMMU by phone at (800) 808.9580 or by email at medicalmarijuanause@flhealth.gov. The application approval process takes approximately 7-21 business days.
