CNN “Weed 7: A Senior Moment” with Anderson Cooper

Dr. Sanjay Gupta’s cannabis series may be some of the best medical marijuana reporting and educational programming ever seen before. Dr. Gupta serves as CNN’s Chief Medical Correspondent, but for most of his career, he was not an advocate of medical cannabis.

Gupta’s career as a neurosurgeon makes him acutely aware of the debilitating symptoms that many Americans face, with chronic pain, neuropathy, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and other conditions. Now in their senior years, Baby Boomers are also changing the way age-related diseases and symptoms are managed whether they reside at home or in a senior living community.

And encourage seniors to consider a broad treatment plan which may include alternative medicines like cannabis, to live better through their retirement years.
