Planning Your Visit To A Marijuana Doctor In Brandon, FL
DocMJ provides a simple, patient-friendly option for those interested in obtaining a MMJ card in Brandon, FL. We have offices throughout the state, and we provide the necessary medical recommendations to obtain a medical marijuana card in the state of Florida.
The First Steps
The first step to obtaining your medical card is to check to see if you qualify. Florida state laws set the criteria for medical and mental health conditions that can be treated using medical marijuana. Simply fill out the pre-qualification registration form at docmj.com to determine your potential eligibility.
The next step is to schedule an appointment with a DocMJ approved medical marijuana doctor. Our medical marijuana doctors are located at 1256 E Brandon Blvd. Suite B, next to Surterra. This location provides added convenience for our new and returning patients.
Your appointment takes about 15 minutes and allows our doctor to review your medical information and verify that you are a valid candidate for a medical marijuana recommendation. We then input all your information into the Registry. You will receive a confirmation email containing a link allowing you to apply for your medical marijuana card and pay the annual fee. The state will send your medical card within approximately 7-10 business days.
The State of Florida lists specific medical and mental health diagnoses that are eligible for a medical marijuana card. These conditions include chronic pain issues, neurological issues, terminal diseases, and a range of digestive and other health problems. In addition, medical marijuana doctors can also make recommendations for similar health conditions, which is why an in-person appointment with an approved medical marijuan doctor is required by law.
