Qualifying For a Medical Card In Fort Myers, FL

Residents of Florida can go to any of our DocMJ physician locations to see a specialized medical marijuana doctor. Qualified candidates can obtain a Registry ID number.

For those wanting to see a medical marijuana doctor in Ft. Myers, FL, our office is located on North Cleveland Avenue, next to Trulieve. If a patient needs a medical card, they can schedule their visit with us and then visit a nearby dispensary after they have applied for and received their medical card.

Steps for Applying and Approval

DocMJ has streamlined the application process for a medical marijuana card to three simple steps. The first step is to fully complete our online pre-qualification and registration form.

The second step is to schedule an appointment with one of our medical marijuana doctors. This appointment typically takes about fifteen minutes.

The third step is to come in and see our doctor. All requested information must be submitted 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you qualify for a medical marijuana recommendation, we will input all your information into the Registry.  You will receive a confirmation email containing a link allowing you to apply for your  MMJ card and pay the annual fee to the state.

Specific Medical Conditions

The dropdown pre-qualification form provides the list of all recognized and qualifying medical and mental health conditions. If you have another condition, choose that option and plan to discuss the diagnosis with our doctor at your appointment. Florida does allow similar or like conditions to be approved for a medical marijuana recommendation.
